Not bad man! In fact, it's refreshing.

I've been looking for a serious original flash action series to watch since Xin ended and and I'm glad to see you going in that direction, that's wassup. The fights are fast-paced, you took time to actually animate (unlike a lot of people on here including my past creations, guilty). The acting was good, though the sound quality made it a bit hard to enjoy at times... And it was good overall, but it does have it's issues.
I can appreciate people using the paintbrush, but honestly, the line work's a bit sloppy and unappealing and some parts, and the movie has some pretty noticeable anatomy issues. Also, the file quality of the voices is pretty annoying (this is not reflecting from you, I'd suggest downloading Audactiy though). Otherwise, it's pretty sweet. The story's good, but doesn't stand out a lot. I guess there's plenty more plot twists to come though. I'm enjoying it so far, keep up the good work man. I'd just clean up the drawings a bit.

RiverJordan responds:

Hmmm, i thought the audio quality was ok? but thanks for the input. I also DO use audacity, however i dont have any lines in the movie, so it was probobly the other people's faults.. i thought they used audacity too however, Kristen (elaine) did for sure. Also, the quality was exported at 48 kb/s or ... im not sure what it is... but i will definetly make it higher for the next time then. And i realize i cant draw hands... hehe, i will work on it though! I'll put your info to use.

Not bad :)

It was entertaining, and I was able to watch the whole thing. It definately had it's funny at points, although the art wasn't incredibly impressive. Nice job though.

TommyVF responds:

Thank you... the art? Oh, we focused more at the animation, full person frame by frame... :)

>TM.

Wooooooooow.....lol

That was...wow...

That truly was somethin' alright. And it was funny, definately entertaining. The animation and character drawings had much more effort than the norm and it keeps your attention. Using no dialogue was a good choice, and hot dang, you picked the best possible music to fit the feel through the whole thing. I say it's great. Definately A material, and good length. Not exactly my thing with the pacing, but no problems here. Keep it up.

Yup, that's definately me lol

Except for the no personal hygene and not playing sports...

The animation was pretty good, but it's a comedy flash so really I guess that's what's important. It was kinda funny, didn't make me cry laughing. Also, it was pretty short. But other than that, I liked it.

RubberNinja responds:

Thanks, glad you liked it dude.

Pretty sick man...

That was cold, I liked it. The character drawings were excellent and the animation is definately above the average. The sound quality was good too.

Now comes the area of improvement (and I'm incredibly guilty of these same things myself, trying to work on it in my own future movies) There was no character development whatsoever, other than the fact that the girl (Whom I'm assuming is Alex Seryoua) has issues with her boyfriend from what it looks like, we know just about NOTHING about her. Maybe it would have been better to give us a second to know who she is, I dunno. The tweenimation though kinda has me a bit concerned about the impact of future action scenes. The camera work added a good effect, but if you work on making the action scenes look like they have impact using the right timing and lighting effects, I think it'd really turn it up a notch. Other than that, loved it. It's gonna be a sweet series.

Animation: (A) Sick. Sound: (F-) Ruined it for me

Seing your name next to this got me hype about seeing a raw ass animation with sweet fights, killer action and a catchy Latino song that I've never heard before, but grows on me the first time I watch the movie. Don't get me wrong, I see where you were going, playing off an old NES game (Never heard of it myself) and though it was a cool idea, when it all came together, I was kinda disappointed. The animation was great as usual, (though I really kinda don't like your color choices, but that's your style and it's working for you, people love your stuff, plus you're far my senior in animation) but that whole NES sound thing really killed the buzz for me, sorry. I would've had a 10 waiting right there if it weren't for that, I love your stuff.

It grew on me.

This was pretty good man. I like the characters, and the series has an okay storyline, though nothing that hasn't been done. (Still working on my own story weaving skills in my own flashes, I needed it more than you do) And I really appreciated the length, it really gave me a chance to get into it.
However, ideas require substance to back them up. I realize that this was a story-building chapter with no fights, which are necessary for series. But with a chapter like this, from what I've been studying in my break from animating is that you should focus on interesting, animated dialogue and showing people what's going on instead of just telling them. You need clean art and lots of animation to make long-winded dialogue interesting. The girl's supposed to be so dangerous, so she could have burst free from the straps, kicked the guy back and wrapped the cuffs around his neck when she woke up instead of being friendly courteous. Something like that probably would have fit the story better looking at the last one.
Another thing was the art, you can draw, but one complaint I've always had with your stuff is that its kind of sloppy and rushed looking. It would have done you more good if before the second time you submitted this (which continues to perplex me as to why you always submit stuff twice) if you had taken a day to fill in the holes in the character drawings where you can see through to the background through the uncolored part of an eye or hair, it would really take your work up a notch. And foreal man, this is not something low-key, its incredibly obvious.
Other than that, it was pretty good, it grew on me as it went on. Don't think I'd watch it twice though. Keep up the good work! We're all improving man. =)

studio-nightbird responds:

hey I remeber you...well I know your work from flashportal. Ur known as the tweening animating guy XD...though very good...
Well One mighty long review You've given me...With alot of Advice...Though I'll keep directing my series as i Plz XD...This is the only slow Chapter. The next is funnier and cooler (I introduce syndacites weapons).
Thanks for the review

lol You're only making yourself look stupid

You are not a real animator and anybody who's bothered to click on one of your fake ass ultimate prophet diddies knows it. lol You're pathetic, I can see what you're trying to do, you're trying to make it look like you have a good catalogue of flash movies probably so you can go show people and say you're an animator without any work. Either that or you just wanna type author comments like you know half a damn about flash to make yourself feel important. That's really sad, man. Hah, but funny at the same time.
The letters were cool and you even put a little eye in there too, congratulations, that's the most work you've ever done on here! Good to know you actually even have flash in the first place. lol peace

I can't believe I sat thru it either...

It was vulgar, nasty, violent and yet I just couldn't make myself stop watching it lol. The badly drawn dog was badly drawn just as intended and it was pretty sick. Regardless, it had it's entertaining moments and was kinda funny. Plus, looked like you put some real work into it for some reason, so I'm straight with it. Peace

Master P really is tryin' to clean up

That's wassup, bout time, still lots more of us who need badly to quit acting n****rish. Personally, the song's beat and all that kinda grated on me. But I was glad to see a Black History flash. Honestly, I thought the users here on NG would chew it up and spit it out with the mess I get in reviews and private messages for making afrocentric sci-fi flashes. But good to see somethin' different. The animation was pretty good, though it wasn't the highlight, seemed like there was more static images and video than anything. Otherwise, wasn't bad.
