Hey passersby. I was working on a third Necropolis toon, but I think I'm going to try something different with the series. At the moment, I'm working on a short for my buddy's Halloween collab and a few game projects. Rageous 7 won't be the last thing from me in the portal this year. Okay, well no promises. Actually, you know what fuck Flash I'm gonna go watch TV instead.

Ffffuck. I don't own any purple clothes for those gay suicides, but I think I'll make some art to show my respects instead.

I know how it feels to constantly struggle with your identity in society that's still moronically attached to outdated notions of "decency" rooted in ancient religions and hateful books. I was too old to get bullied by the time I told the world I was JUST bisexual, but I definitely got the full impact of my over-religious mother pathetically trying to convince me to go hide in a closet out of her own embarrassment and insecurity, and the nights crying with a blade in my hand and the explosive nervous breakdowns in my psychiatrists office. Don't ever be afraid of yourself.

You're the only person who's going to be with you your whole life. NO one can give you a right to exist, not your peers, not greedy, bigoted preachers; not shitty ancient religions and definitely not your parents.Take all the time you need to, but learn to love and accept who YOU are. Not who people say you should be.

Epic flash toons. It was just a fad wasn't it? Just like killing celebs, Wassup and stick people comedy, right? Seems like there used to be something to look forward to here all the time, but now it's just so bland except for on NG holidays.

Good flash still comes through, but there's rarely anything ambitious anymore that catches you off guard with how much time and effort the artist put into it. People have realized that nobody gives a fuck anymore about effort as long as shit's short and mildly comedic or pretty.

I'm getting a little bored, but I can't stop looking.

Hey guys, I'm writing an article about Newgrounds culture for class, and I think it'd be kewl to get you guys in on it. Whaddya say? Feel like blabbering?

I'll take any help I can get. Actually, I need a few things, and you can contribute as much or as little as you want, I'll try to get your quotes into the article and then post it here in all its glory, maybe as a flash B)

I need any of the following:

-A link to an article (by anyone), user page post, or anything talking about or criticizing Newgrounds culture; and by culture, I mean popular content, users, fads, animator beefs (ala the ever so entertaining Rtil vs Mindchamber), the war on spam, or anything that represents the "culture" here. And trust me, it's there. Anything like this.

-Or just give me a text wall here about what Newgrounds culture is to you, or how you see it. What are things that are noticeable to you? And yes, it can be as nasty, mean or vulgar as you like. What do you come here for?

-A news post made by you! Make a front page post about the little culture here and link me to it, I'd love to read.

Hey there NG, about a month ago a deal fell through for a freelance job I was working on, so here I am with just about a full game's worth of graphics and I wanted to see if there's any programmers out there who'd be interested in making a game with me :D

It would be some sort of zombie shooter, but I'm open to new ideas for the project if you have any. Personally, I think some type of overhead shooter/RPG would would be raw as fuck and I'd be willing to do some fully-animated cutscenes and other flashy shit to compliment that. The plan is to put the game up for bid on FlashGameLicense and 50/50 PARTNERSHIP. That's the one requirement.

These are just in-game graphics of course, we'd hook up and work on user interface and other graphics if need be, but my time is on the chopping block right now so I also have this as an option if you're already a baller in the indie game industry:

Name a price, and if it's not shitty, I will just sell them to you, no questions asked. Get at me, I'd hate for them to just be unused Deviantart fodder.

Fuck, I wasted my FP post for this week criticizing Egoraptor at all points for being a crass charlatan, and now I've found something I wanted to talk about but nobody's going to see it. Oh well, I'll say it anyway.
RACISM

Yes, the big R word, bitch. STOP USING IT. Not everything that makes fun of someone's skin color, even if it is not your own, is "racist". Seriously, if you saw the N word in a flash, spam or otherwise or even a slave or fried chicken joke and you jumped up to defend my ethnic sensitivities (even if you're some other ethnicity), thank you for thought, but that is not racism. Like in Catoble-whatever-the-fuck-he's-going-b y-these-days's cartoon Sperm Limit Law. I've had people call me racist for having 99% black characters in my flashes.

The reason I bring this up is that in the slow and painful extraction of my head out of my own ass in the past few years, I have started to notice that people jump up to call anything that involves race at all "racist". Namely people on Newgrounds. I was one of them. As oversensitive as I was, if I could get over it, you can too.

Racism is not the use of the word N****R, a fried chicken joke, or a comedic picture of a Sambo-like character, or even a lynching joke in a flash cartoon or in any other form of art. Racism is when some motherfucker wakes up in the morning and decides he's going to catch a black guy walking down the street and beat his ass, because he believes that every n***a is somehow genetically a drain on the economy. A racist is a person who thinks that everyone around him is a racist just because they don't like him or always give him what he wants. Racism does still exist, but at least put it in perspective.

Don't put up with racism that is actually HARMFUL to you, but if it's not going to hurt you or hinder you from getting something you deserve, let the knuckle-draggers think whatever they want to think. Thoughts and words can't physically hurt you; just live your life anyway, you'll be much happier, trust me.

I've been thinking lately... It would really lighten the load/make it easier on me (And get faster cartoons to you) if I had some help. If the need ever arises, is there anybody here who likes doing backgrounds and would be interested in doing the backdrops for Necropolis?

Okay, so Necropolis is a portfolio project and truth be told, it's highly unlikely that I'd be able to pay you a commission since I'M not making any money off of my cinematic flash. I'm just seeing if anybody'd actually do it. Show me some examples of your backdrop work too.
