Not so impressive, I don't think comedy is done properly if you know the ending in the first 20 seconds. As soon as Oak starts going off on how he's waiting to see the egg laying process, I knew automatically that Ash was there to distract him from it. Clever. My metapod knows String Shot and Harden, can you guess what I named it? NOOO, it couldn't be... he wouldn't have possibly named him penis. Gasp, he did! Smart. Overdone internet memes!? Dude we never see those! Fresh. The graphics and voice acting didn't really hold all that well either. But you have appealed to one major thing 13-year-old boys love on Newgrounds: predictability. Keep making flashes like this, you'll be a sensation in no time, and no I'm not being sarcastic.

Fantastic ideas here, but difficult to follow.

I dunno, one side of me really enjoyed this. You never see such a long Flash, let alone a series done in a style like this, that really made it stand out for me. It was really pretty, and I was pleasantly surprised by those action shots toward the end, because I initially didn't think action would work with this style.

The downside is that it's REALLY hard to tell what's going on the first time around, it's way too fast-paced to be so abstract. I'd guess a second look would clear up any questions, but still wanna watch that pace. The last thing I can pull out of my ass is that the while the art style is very unique and pretty, it is very difficult to tell what's going on most of the time. It was a daring move, but it needs more detail and frame-by-frame, and more variation in color so the viewer's mind can comprehend it too. Like that part at the end where the chick is fighting someone apparently, you didn't animate any people, she's just kind of running across a few lines of color and that really stuck out in my mind. Abstract can be cool, but don't forget that other people aren't going to see it and comprehend it the way you will as the artist.

Still though, I enjoyed it, interesting music choice lol... Good flash, looking forward to the second one, assuming that there'll be one.

I always love seeing little sick, demented gore-comedies like this on here. Makes me think Newgrounds still has a sense of humor. Some fucked-up kills on here. Thanks for the smile, homeboy.

Great art, smooth animation, fantastic voice acting. Love't it, very entertaining. The only thing I don't like is that Y.Chang's in it, and he's the reason I'm gay.

God damn, the colors, the graphics, the choreography, everything was just fucking ridiculous. I've never seen animation that smooth and well-executed, it was...flawless... and I hate Legend of Zelda, wow...

Fantastic animation as always, god have you improved since the first stuff I've seen from you. Your stuff has gone from well animated to just plain juicy and fluid on levels that piss me the fuck off because I haven't gotten there yet. Voice work was great, so was the premise, uber-metrosexual 80's glam rock space opera shit... Hell yea. Can't wait to see more. I don't think this needs the word "Teaser" in the title though, it's misleading, I think it's fine just at Starbarians, just write it off as a mini-pilot.

Quality flash.

The animation and everything visual were great, as well as the voice acting, but the story was pretty bland... which isn't like you... I don't think it was even the time limit, it just seemed like there wasn't much imagination past the cowboy robots. Other than that though, impressive as always. I don't imagine 3 weeks would ever scare you, as fast as you pumped out those Escape From Nevara entries.

In-fucking-credible.

There's nothing better than toonage that's as visually pleasing as it is hilarious. The song was also just fantastic. Loved it, most entertaining 57 seconds or so of my day. Only complaint is the video quality, it's pretty low. The movements reeked of video compression at a different framerate than the raw animation and cheap interlacing to make up for it. No one will give a half fuck about that except for me though.

Kick ass.

Great fight choregraphy, full of nasty impact and crazy ass special effects indeed. But what you described as filter-rape isn't that bad kind. This was filter rape+ frame by frame, which is eye sex. I also love this song, and may be biased by my unholy lust for Cage the Elephant's music. This made my day, always happy to see that brawl toons aren't dead.
