Damn you!

For making a whole series at one time, I am jealous as hell for that lol. I just thought I'd get that off my chest, I've wanted to do something like this ever since I started animating and I give you mad respect for pulling it off.

Now for the review. I think this is a good series, I can tell you have skill. The drawings are nice and clean, and the story...makes sense... this is a rare delight here on NG. The voice acting is solid, though the sound quality is a bit unpleasant.
My main complaint is the animation, there is a god-awful amount of tweening here, looks like about 85% of the animation, and I know why. I know everything in this series is already animated, but for future reference, you need to find balance between drawing detail and quality animation. I notice you putting a lot of shading and such into the characters, which looks nice, but I can tell it's making you a little bit afraid to approach the fBf and it it tends to make some shots look a little cheap, even though they're just talking. I really think that you should simplify the detail on the keyframes just a little, whether it be the character designs or the shading so that you won't be afraid to actually "animate" the actions of the characters. But otherwise this is pretty cool what you did here making a whole saga, I'm completely jealous!

Thanks a lot dude! I totally agree, I really did do way too much tweening in this series. My new animations (yet to upload on NG) have cut down on character detail and focus on fBf animation more. Thanks for the advice and support, it means a lot! Check out my new stuff when I finally get around to finishing it and let me know what you think :)

Could be NG's best...

If you'd take a break to work on your movements, that's my biggest complaint with this series. The concept, I love. The character designs and the whole diversity of animal-warriors looks really cool, especially the mammals and the female characters, this reminds me of all that old good shit from the 80's and 90's. But the sound (not the music) is unpleasant to say the least, as well as all the growling and grunting, I really hope that after you finish this story arc you'll invest some time into looking for voice actors, they're free all over the net, alot of people just do it for fun. Otherwise, it's cool, but I wouldn't watch it twice.

Expected this to suck from the title...

But it didn't, it was nice. Some of the movements and timing earlier in the movie looked pretty damn good. I'd give the first minute or so a 9 if that was it. However, when the random anime rip-offs started, the movie went downhill. It looked like you traced that Naruto fight animation, and then Jesus just started turning into anime giant robot characters, and the movie went from a pleasant goatee scratch to a facepalm. The sound I can't comment much on, since the music was pretty common. Also, the roughness of the character outlines was done rather unpleasantly. But the flash is still good, worth the watch, it'll drive serious anime fans nuts.

Oh okay, awesome, thankyou!

Thanks man for taking 5 minutes to make this. We were really all wondering how to mimic the already lazy ass walk cycle that only Krinkels himself can fuck up. How about a tutorial on how to really animate instead of teaching people to make crap? Madness is boring enough without imitators.

First one, you say?

This looks great for a first try, I like it. The drawings are clean and the characters have a nice design to them. However, the movements and animation are very rushed-looking, and the musicwas painfully bland and I had to turn the volume all the way up to understand what they were saying. But it looks to me like you're off on a good start, though!

Hahaha, never just the same old shit with you, eh?

As usual, the graphics looked great and the animation was pretty precise. The sound recording was high quality, and the voice acting was just right. Loved the dialogue. The movie was fun to watch, and had it's moments, but could have been funnier. Still, your style sticks out to me and I love it. Keep up the great work.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks yung

Fantastic.

Animation was smooth, voices were clear, and plot was...well.... plot WAS. That shit was pretty different for a Sonic toon, it put a gooofy grin on my face. I definitely haven't seen anything like it before! More plz.

Torn... It's a stick movie but it's so damn good..

I'm not really a fan of stick movies, but I really can't hate on this one, because you really worked hard on it.

Except for the repetitive character designs, the graphics look just plain fantastic, the backdrops and the colors have always grabbed me when watching your work. Your color sense is just about on par with Proxicide(SF vs MK 3, Deus Ex Madness) in my opinion. The movie sounded great, the voice acting is on point with how people would really react in these situations, kudos to the actors, I see you did a little yourself, nice. The storyline is fairly minimalist as far as the whole "There's castles full of monsters. Deal with it muhfucka." but it kind of reminds me of that show Avatar, where the substance is more in the events and characters than in the storyline and it works for me. Keep it up man, your stuff's sick as ever.

Best thing to happen to NG in awhile.

Great drawing style, choosing not to shade was a good choice, which leaves a lot of reliance on the movements and animation, and you nailed that too. The voice acting was good, I recognize some of the characters from Law of Talos and such. The sound quality was decent, and the music choice was okay. I guess I can't really find many gripes about it except for the story, which is nothing extremely original but it's enough to carry it alongside the beautiful visuals. Keep up the good work, man.
