Back on the grind.

Founds meh employment, I'm officially a...telemarketer.... until school starts this semester. Look, 40 hours a week 9 bucks an hour for a 19 year old with no experience in the state with the shittiest economy in the US, yup, I'm grateful.

ANYWAY, that embarrassing news aside, I am back to animating, in the weeks since I submitted Shut Up and Evolve (A cavalcade of randomness that is supposed to be a preview of Xenophobe). I've made significant progress, and come across a snag.

After 6 months of planning and 2 months of finalized animating, Flash has stopped obeying me. This movie is supposed to be 14 minutes long, I get all the rough animations done and 1/3 of the finals, and flash quits obeying me, just won't export or anything. So I'm chopping the project up into 2 parts, and you'll probably get to see something from me sooner than I intended initially (the first 7 minutes of the cartoon) since the movie was 2 stories anyways.

Huzzah

Back on the grind.

*To himself* Lucky bastard, wish I had a j...

Erm, Congrats! How would 6 bucks and hour for a 20-year old non-college grad (read... uh what's a euphemism for college drop-out) with no [paid work] experience in the.. um... North Carolina with a possibly equally bad economy as your state.
BTW, how'd you find your job, considering that I'm in the market, too.

(Wow, long intelligible post. I hope NG could help that.)

Next time I get a call by a tellemarketer, I'll yell "Boondocks" on the phone. Even if my chances of getting you were ten million to one.

I'll make sure to curse you out extra special when you call me!

Hey it could be worse. You could be working 14/7 at $9 an hour WITH NO OVERTIME like I was. Anyways, it's good to know you're back to animating. I'm looking forward to seeing some great movies here :)

can't wait 2 c!

are you allowed to telemarket and animate at the same time?

Woo hoo been looking forward to this! Also I would like to know what you mean by rough animations? Important frames or just sloppy looking frames all the way through? Also what size brush do you use and how far do you zoom? If you awnser I would really apresheate it. Thanks for reading and keep animating!

From one animator to another.

(this is a self narration of me giving Jazz a high five)

I walked over to Jazz across the street and gave him a high five. I then blurted out with great esteem, "PUSSY JOKE!". I then walked away and decided to throw a rock at Jazz.

yeah. and robot lesbians came to destroy him also. because they're robots..AND JAPANESE. yeah...

But then really busty sexy Latin Lesbians came up to me and started making out and let me film them have sex. and then i turned them straight.

360 bucks a week, damn, i'd be grateful to. Congratulations.

and WAIT. OMFG I WANNA BE A TELEMARKETER!

Congrats (again) on the job you telemarketing man you. I swear if I ever get a call from you I will not only NOT hang up, but deliberately waste your time for no less that 36 minutes and 24 seconds. At that point your attitude will determine if I continue my course of actions for round two or allow you to continue with your work.
....or not...but does that change the fact that you will now cringe when you see my number on your list?

If I were you I'd wait to submit both parts at the same time. It might keep the focus up on your level to finish the second part as if it were still one large movie. Just my two cents.

Good luck making flash obey you, along with your job.

Lol sounds like your doing well for yourself, good job man.

why u got my woman all over ya page like that man

stop disrespecting me

let's rock-

you should set your work out into several files making them 'scenes' each about 1-2 mins long, that helps keep the audio in sync too, then once you're done with each fla.scene you put em into individual movie clips and compile them into one final document, that way you won't have any audio problems and you can easily make a scene selection tool also it'll help keep so much preassure off flash, e.g. quicker loading and saving times and all in all is much more managable, trust me! rubberninja helped me with this ;) I'm doing this with my current project that i've been working for a year by august lol :S anyway, it works like a dream.

Ah yes...XMAS in July. Can't wait bro.

Congrats on finding a job. Some money is better than no money any day of the week.
